This trench is in the far eastern part of the ocean floor. As always, you'll have to fight 2 Gargoyles.
Bestiary Checklist:
Note: Blob A and Blob B look identical, but they have different bestiary numbers.

The easiest way to clear this dungeon is by changing everyone's job to Bard, or if you already mastered it, you can set the Song ability.
All monsters here are undead type, so using the Requiem song can instantly kill them, making you feel like a boss.
On B4, 1st area, DO NOT press the second switch because it will cut off the path.
On B4, 2nd area with many switches, 4 of them are traps that will drop you to B5.

Use Float to avoid larva damage.
On B7, there is one tile at the bottom where you can recharge your Magic Lamp.
On B8, you can simply press all switches to open the door for the chest and the door for the tablet room.

Boss: Phobos, Triton, Nereid
These bosses have different weaknesses; one thing in common is that they are undead type. But the easiest way to kill them is by summoning Odin to use Zantetsuken, which instantly kills all of them.
Another strategy is to spam Requiem (Song).
You'll get the third tablet and the Meteor spell for your Time Mage.
