From Quelb, head straight north to Drakenvale.
Note 1: I suggest you have one Bard in your party since dragon-type monsters here are undead and have high HP. Requiem we just obtained earlier is a perfect skill for defeating these guys.
Note 2: Zombie Dragon always drops Dragon Fang. Make sure you kill 3 or 4 of them because we'll need Dragon Fang soon.
While you are traveling through Mountain Paths (any areas not inside a cave), you'll probably encounter the "???" monster. It hits you and flees. Just ignore it for now; we'll deal with this guy later.

Golem
- On the Mountain Path area below, you'll encounter the "???" again with 2 dragons.
- During the battle, the dragons will turn against the Golem. So you need to help the Golem by killing both dragons and wait a bit.
- The Golem will thank you and run away. At the end of the battle, you'll receive Golem as an item.
IMPORTANT: Open your Inventory -> Items, then use Golem to add it to your summon list.

Note: Bone Mail is a unique item that prevents all ailment statuses. Keep in mind that it has a negative effect — you cannot revive the wearer if he/she is dead during battle.
Boss: Dragon Pod (Dragon Flower)
Guaranteed Drop: Elixir
Dragon Pod itself doesn't do anything harmful; however, it'll keep summoning new Dragon Flowers (up to 5) and de-spawn the old ones endlessly. These flowers deal a small amount of damage but inflict various ailment statuses on your allies.
Quickest strategy: using Death Claw (Blue Mage) on the Dragon Pod, then use any multi-target spell/skill to finish both Dragon Pod and Dragon Flowers.
Second best strategy: spamming Romeo's Ballad to stop both Dragon Pod and Dragon Flowers completely. Then, you can free-hit the boss and its minions.
Other strategies include:
- Spamming AOE spells/skills like Titan (Summoner), Kick (Monk) because they can deal damage to Dragon Pod and kill Dragon Flowers at the same time.
- Casting Gravity (Time Mage) twice is good to reduce 75% of Dragon Pod HP.
Once you defeat the boss, use Teleport (Time Mage) to quickly leave the cave.
