At the end, #3, a scene occurs and the forest is engulfed in fire.
Note: During the fire, you have a choice to open a chest next to the tree now for Aegis Shield, or you can wait until the fire is extinguished to get Flame Shield. For your reference, Flame Shield is slightly better in terms of raw stats.
Blue Magic (26/30): Lilliputian Lyric
From Mini Magician
Very easy to get, just set 4 people with the Learn ability.
Use the spring water to fully recover, then exit the Moogle Cave and continue.

Boss: ??? x4 (Crystal)
These are elemental crystals: top is fire, right is water, bottom is earth, and left is wind.
They only deal physical attacks, which don't hurt much until their HP drops below 3000 HP (total 7777 HP).
They'll start casting high-level magic spells corresponding to their elements.
It's very dangerous to drop their HP below 3000 HP at the same time.
The strategy is to destroy them one by one.
Best Strategy:
- Have 2 Blue Mages, 1 Time Mage, and 1 White Mage.
- During the battle, cast Graviga and quickly follow up with 1000 Needles to instantly kill one crystal at a time.
If there is a delay, the crystal will retaliate with its powerful spell.
If this happens, heal your party using Curaga before repeating this with another crystal.
Tip: wait until both Blue Mage and Time Mage ATB gauges are full, then you can select which character performs the action first by pressing "Tab" (keyboard).
Money Strategy:
- Have 4 Samurai to spam Zeninage.
The 4 crystals will be destroyed in 2 or 3 hits, which costs around 15000 gil.
Second Best Strategy:
- Have 4 Blue Mages.
- During the battle, keep spamming Death Claw until it hits, then follow up with a basic attack.
I personally find it unreliable because Death Claw tends to miss a lot if you are low level.
It took me an entire team's MP and a few Ether to finally finish them all.
Standard Strategy:
- Cast Hastega, Slowga, and Golem, then focus on one crystal at a time.
Recast Golem if it wears off. - Keep spamming non-elemental magic/skills like Comet, 1000 Needles, or even physical attacks.
- Aeroga is great too but only works on top, right, and bottom crystals.
The left one will absorb wind element. - As long as your healing can keep up with the damage taken, you'll be fine.

Just auto-attack until it's over.
