This bridge is long and straight with no treasures. You can visually see all encounters here, and you can't escape from battles.
Boss: Gilgamesh (2nd encounter)
Guaranteed Drop: Wizard's Hat
This time he only has 6500 HP, which you can end pretty fast. The fight is pretty standard.
The quickest way to defeat him is using Zeninage (Samurai). One hit deals about 3000 HP depending on your level. So change everyone's job to Samurai, and you can end this battle in one turn at the cost of around 4000 to 5000 gil.
Another strategy without using gil is having 3 Blue Mages spamming 1000 Needles and 1 White Mage supporting the team.
Other things that will help:
- Flash to reduce his physical attack accuracy.
- Silence (or attack with Mage Masher) to prevent him from buffing when his HP is low.
- Slow also helps too if you have Time Mage.

Note: Neo Garula only appears on the second half of the bridge after defeating the boss. There is a bug: if you run too fast after leaving the control room, you won't encounter any monsters at all. So you should slow down or walk tile by tile up and down until you get Neo Garula.
