Metamorph starts appearing on B2. This monster can morph into different monsters. It cycles through 3 different monsters with 4 variants:
- Shiva, Gaelicat, Elf Toad
- Ifrit, Wyvern, Enchanted Fan
- Ramuh, Crew Dust, Zombie Dragon
- Shiva, Ifrit, Ramuh
After the transformation, it retains its HP/MP but has different stats. It reverts back to its original form after attacking once.
There is one specific form that we are interested in, Enchanted Fan, because it has a Blue Magic spell, Aeroga.

From Metamorph (morph into Enchanted Fan)
Set Learn ability on everyone, then wait until you see it transform into Ifrit and Wyvern; it will eventually transform into Enchanted Fan. Otherwise, just flee and try again with a different Metamorph.

After a scene with Ghido, use Teleport to quickly leave the cave.
