Before we head to our final destination, let's pick up the second strongest weapons for our fighters.

Take your airship and fly to Mount Duergar. Enter the top room and talk to the blacksmith inside, he'll forge a sword Excalibur for you.

Equip on your fighter immediately then leave the cave.

Next is our final dungeon, Chaos Shrine. Head inside the middle room and examine the crystal.

You'll have to run around these 3 floors. Just follow the map below:

1F: Leave the room, the exit is in the bottom-right corner. The one in the bottom-left leads to a dead-end. 
2F: Take the staircase on your right to 3F. 
3F: Head south, then east, enter the room in the middle. There is a monster blocking the door. Kill the monster then pick up 2 items:

• (C-243) Dry Ether: Left chest.
• (C-244) Elixir: Right chest.

Examine the middle stone to open a new exit.

2F: Leave the room and take the exit in the northwest corner to 1F. 
1F: Go straight west to another exit in the northwest corner.

From here on, you'll have to fight a boss (the four fiends) on each floor until B5.

Go up, right (don't take the split path), down, until you see a yellow orb. Examine the orb to fight a boss.

There are 4 chests here, follow the map to pick them up, then fight a fiend boss.

• (C-245) Protect Ring: Left room.
• (C-246) Sasuke's Blade: Second bottom room.
• (C-247) Protect Cloak: Right room.
• (C-248) Elixir: Second right room.

Just follow the map to the exit at the bottom-left corner.

This time, Kraken is protecting the exit.

Just use "Haste" and "Temper" on the damage dealers, it's a relatively easy boss.

The last chest is in the room at the bottom.

• (C-249) Masamune: Strongest weapon in the game.

Backtrack to the exit at the top-right area.

The final boss is waiting for you in the middle room.

Just give everything you got. If you got Black Mage, use "Haste" + "Temper" + "Temper" on your Fighter, it'll give a very nice boost.
