Board the ship and sail toward west until you appear in the east. Search around the coastline until you see a port where you can dock your ship.
Follow the path until you reach Crescent Lake.

I find equipment in this town not worth upgrading. However, it has new magic spells that you should buy.
Once you are done, go to the east side of the town and talk to all elders to get a key item Canoe. This item allows you to paddle across shallow water.
