Cornelia (Town)
Leave the castle and enter Cornelia town. The first thing you should do is to shop for weapons and armors, but don't overdo it as you only have 500G. Later on, you won't need to buy any gears as you progress through the game, you'll get better equipment from dungeons. So I'll list a of magic shops you can buy.

Boss: Garland (212 HP)
This boss is really easy, keep hitting him with physical attack and magic, he will die in a few turns.
After defeating the boss, you'll appear in Castle Cornelia. Leave the castle and head north to the bridge.
