Tip:

1. Cast Float (Rosa) to avoid floor damage.
2. Equip Rosa and Rydia with Rune Armlet to prevent Silence — enemies here inflict many status ailments.
3. Malboro is the most dangerous enemy due to Bad Breath.
   • Defeat one for the bestiary.
   • After that, feel free to run away (L1 + R1 or 2 + 3 on keyboard).

This cave has two separate paths, so you must clear it twice.

Once you reach the Sylvan Cottage, go to 2F and use the portal to exit.
Then re‑enter the cave to begin Path 2.

If needed, use an Hourglass to freeze them.
Quicksave often.

Note: Avenger sword inflicts Berserk on the user.
Kain is the best candidate since he doesn’t need manual control.
