Go back to Antlion Cave. From there, go further east; you'll see a mountain with a snake-like path (looks like a crack).
I recommend you level up until Rosa learns the Life spell, which can revive a fallen member.
- Follow the path and take the first exit to Mt. Hobs - Trail to collect 4 chests.
- On the summit, you'll have to fight a boss along with a new member, Yang, who will join your party.
Bestiary Checklist:
Boss: Mom Bomb
This battle has 3 stages:
- 1st stage is easy.
- 2nd stage, the boss will transform into a giant bomb.
- 3rd stage, it will explode, dealing damage to your entire party and split into 3 Bomb and 3 Gray Bomb.
Strategy:
- 1st and 2nd stages, focus on single-target attacks.
- Rosa either attacks or heals (revive KO'd members if needed).
- Edward focuses on healing.
- Rydia summons Chocobo.
- Cecil and Yang use attack.
- During the 3rd stage, focus on using AoE attacks like Darkness and Kick.
Once the battle ends, re-equip Yang with equipment you have in the inventory.

- C-056: Tent - Trail, 1st chest.
- C-057: Potion - Trail, 2nd chest.
- C-058: Gold Needle - Trail, 3rd chest.
- C-059: 960 gil - Trail, 4th chest.
- C-060: Holy Arrow - Summit.
