Note 1:
- These 2 towns have a ship that can transport you between towns. You can also walk between them without using the ship.
- Using ship is quick, and you do not encounter any monsters, but it costs some money.
- Every time you want to use the ship, you have to buy the ticket.
- So it is up to you to use it or not. In this guide, I'll always use ship to travel to speed up the game.
Note 2:
- In Poft, there is another transportation system by airship; it's a one-way travel. It costs more money than the ship but provides a quick way to travel to long-distance places.
Paloom
This town is optional. However, there are new equipment and magic available for sale.
Recommendation: buy "Cure Tome" for everyone as you'll heavily rely on "Cure" to heal everyone up later in the dungeons. You can be also other spells if you have money left.
