Gulgan Gulch & Chocobo Woods
- Follow the map to the Chocobo Woods to unlock it on the map; achievement Adventurous Wayfarer.
- Then head south to Gulgan Gulch. Proceed to B2 and talk to the elder to receive the Toad spell, then give it to your White Mage.
- There is a hidden area in the far south with 3 chests.
Chests/Items:
- C-093: Mage Robe - B1, hidden area, top chest.
- C-094: Ice Rod - B1, hidden area, middle chest.
- C-095: Fire Rod - B1, hidden area, bottom chest.
- I-033: Toad - receive from the elder.
Put this equipment on immediately.
Tower of Owen
- Backtrack to your ship, then follow the coastline north until you see the tower.
- At the (1), you have to cast Toad on everyone to enter. Once you enter, re-cast the Toad spell again to reverse the effect.
- Before facing the boss, wear the equipment you've collected immediately.
Boss: Medusa
This boss doesn't have any weakness, so any magic or physical damage will work. You just have to watch out when it uses "Stare," which can petrify you. Use Gold Needle to remove the status.

After defeating the boss, examine the engine and watch a scene.

- C-097: Tyrfing - 4F, bottom-right corner.
- C-098: Maiden's Kiss - 5F, west corner.
- C-099: Echo Herbs - 7F, right chest.
- C-100: Bomb Fragment - 7F, left chest.
- C-101: Echo Herbs - 8F, top-right corner.
- C-102: Salamand Sword - 9F, middle chest.
- C-103: Flame Mail - 9F, top-left corner.
- C-104: Zeus's Wrath - 9F, near the exit.
You'll be teleported outside the tower.
