Notes and tips:

• Recommended Level: 35+
• You need a Thief level 71+ if you want to steal Gungnir (lance) from the boss.
• Even with level 35+ or 40+, you'll still easily die in 1 or 2 hits from Zantetsuken (Odin's ultimate skill), so you should save your game with "Quicksave" just before the boss. WHEN you are about to die (game over), immediately pause the game and quit so that the game doesn't delete your "Quicksave" data. In other word, if you allow the game to reload itself from the game over, your quicksave is gone.

Odin has only 2 attacks and hit 2 times per turn.

1. Normal attack, a single target attack.
2. Zantetsuken, he'll start using this randomly after his HP is low. Usually, you won't survive 2 hits.

Preparation: 1 healer (preferable White Mage), 3 damage dealers (can be physical or magical damage, also including Thief for the steal).

The trick to defeating Odin is to play offensive before he uses Zantetsuken, 1 healer keeps using Cura to heal everyone, while the others focusing on using any powerful attacks you have. That said, you'll still probably die when he starts using Zantetsuken, so there are 2 approach to get pass this boss:

1. Strategy 1: Level up your characters and jobs until you have enough damage and HP to survive the Zantetsuken (usually character level is above 40). However, you might not be able to max out your HP.
2. Strategy 2: Quicksave before the boss fight, restart the game if it is about to game over. Repeat until you can kill him because there is a chance that he doesn't use Zantetsuken after 5 turns (this is the approach I go with, I killed Odin while under level, mostly 33 and 34).
