Gulgan Gulch
Your first stop is Gulgan Gulch, so follow the map there.
After taking the stairs (1), talk to the man in the middle to trigger a scene. Then, collect all chests inside a hidden passageway.
Chests (3):
- Mage Robe
- Ice Staff
- Fire Staff
Tower of Owen
Exit the Gulgan Gulch and follow the map to Tower of Owen.
I highly recommend that your White Mage who will learns "Toad" spell should at least have 2MP for Magic Level 3 so that he/she can cast the "Toad" twice to reverse the effect. Otherwise, you'll have to use Maiden's Kiss to remove the Toad status.
Tip: At this point, you should have two Fire Staffs and two Ice Staffs. When you equip these weapons on, they can be used as item to cast Fire and Blizzard respectively which will save you a lot MP in this dungeon. Also bring some Gold Needle because our upcoming boss can turn you into stone.
- At (1), you'll have to cast Toad spell on all your party members to proceed to the next floor. After you appeared on the next floor, cast the Toad to reverse the effect.
- At (5), you'll have to walk west to trigger a scene before you can interact with the switch.
Boss: Madusa
This boss doesn't have any weakness, so any Magic and physical damage will do. You just have to watch out when it uses "Stare" that can petrify you. Use Gold Needle to remove the status.
